Edgewater Christian Fellowship

ECF has a group of folks that are leading ministries home groups or bible studies. Throughout the New Testament there are hints of a group of people that lead without a title of pastor, elder or overseer:

1. 1 Corinthians 16:15-16 – talks of a group that was addicted to the ministry and the church was to submit to them.
2. 1 Corinthians 16:18 – the church was to recognize this group.
3. Acts 15:22 – this group is called Chosen or Chief men.
4. Galatians 6:1 – calls the group Spiritual and they are tasked with restoration.
5. 1 Thessalonians 5:12-3 – this group works, presides over and admonishes.
6. The Leadership at ECF meets monthly for worship, prayer, study, fellowship and communion.
