WHAT IS IT?
The School of Discipleship is a two month discipleship program designed to sharpen, stretch and strengthen young adults in pursuing their calling as they chase after Christ.
TO FILL the students time with the Word of God through theological and practical trainings. TO HELP each student stabilize their Christ foundation. TO PREPARE each student to fulfill the Great Commission in their lives; through immersion and transformation by the Holy Spirit. TO SEND them out into a world equipped and encouraged to share to Gospel with ALL.
LA MISION PARA NINOS (THE MISSION), Camen Serdan, Mexico
La Mision Para Ninos was established in 1986 to provide care for disabled individuals. Previous students have expressed the feeling of God’s presence just coming trough the Mission gates for the first time. The ministry of the Mission is very near to our Father’s Heart (James 1:27).
Many of the teachers have a long history with the Mission, either having gone through a school of discipleship, staff, or bringing groups.
Andrew Myer- from Edgewater Christian Fellowship (Feb 28-Mar 4): The Devotional Life & The Compassion of Christ.
Dominic Done- from Pursuing Faith (Mar 7-10): Faith and Doubt.
Terry Zech– pastor of Temecula Christian Fellowship (Mar 14-18): The book of James.
March 21-25 Bay of Angels trip with the Edgewater teachers:
Lukian Efseaf – pastor of Twin Rivers Church (Mar 30- Apr 1): Who & How We are in Christ
Xavier Brasseur – pastor of The Story Church (Apr 4-8): The Role of, & Discerning the Voice of the Holy Spirit.
Jason Duff – pastor of The Garden Fellowship (Apr 18-22): Old & New Testaments, and Content & Context.
– Along with –
Phil Evens- Inductive Bible Study.
Rob Lloyd- pastor of Freedom Community Church (May 2-6): Heaven & Christ’s Eminent Return.
Jeff Moody and others will be filling in with such topics as: Preeminence of Jesus, Grace, Fasting & Waiting on the Lord, Fear of God, Law Works & Righteousness.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE?
The morning starts with worship and communion at the Mission Chapel.
After breakfast the following four hours are spent in class.
After lunch the rest of the day is spent serving the orphans, and time free to spend alone with our Lord.
