“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” - 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

OUR MISSION:

To come alongside Veterans so they may connect, heal and grow in our community.

OUR PURPOSE:

We are here to serve our community of widows/widowers, to meet them where they are and walk with them as they navigate their way on this new path that God has placed before them.  As Jesus is our guide, we are here to help you, with the support from your family, as you learn to navigate the road ahead of you.

WHAT IS VETERANS MINISTRY?

First: What to do and how to navigate the recent loss of a spouse.

We will meet with you and come alongside you as you walk through the early stages of this difficult and challenging time.  We will pray with you and assist you in identifying any areas where you may have immediate and future needs and help facilitate those needs.

“Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted.”  Matthew 5:4

Second: Provide opportunities to connect and fellowship with other widows.

As you settle into the normalcy of your new life, we would like to invite you to join in the opportunities of fellowshipping and connecting with other widows.  We will provide support, schedule events and other get-togethers.

“Therefore encourage one another and build up one another”  1 Thessalonians 5:11a
